Biography
Sara Enrico (1979, IT) lives in Torino.
She has exhibited her works in Italy and abroad, including: Národní galerie Praha, Prague (2019); Mart, Museo d’arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (2019); Brooklyn Army Terminal, New York; Centrale Fies Art Work Space, Dro; Marsèlleria, New York; PAV Parco Arte Vivente, Torino; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino; Les Instants Chavirès, Montreuil (Paris); e Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como. She participated in OFF Biennale Cairo, Cairo, 2018 and in Biennale Internazionale Arte in Memoria, Sinagoga, Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica (Roma), 2017.

Recipients of Italian Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome (2021) and of Premio Michetti (2020).
In 2018 she received a production grant from the IV edition of Italian Council (2018), a competition ideated by Directorate-General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Peripheries (DGAAP) – the organ of Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
In 2017 recipient of New York Prize, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT), the Italian Cultural Institute in New York and the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies ­ Columbia University, and in residence at International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York. In the same year, she won the Menabrea Art Prize.

Co-founder of Laboratorio del Dubbio, a series of residencies and a cross-disciplinary platform developed into seven chapters (Turin, 2016). She took part in Progetto Diogene, between 2008 and 2012, as an artistic self-identity group of people working together. Based in an old tram carriage in the middle of a roundabout of the public space of Turin, the project running as an international residency program, talks and events.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Turin and at the Istituto Spinelli in Florence, where she attended training in the restoration of ancient paintings and frescoes. She had been working as an art conservator and restorer of frescoes, as a professor of History of Art and, since 2019, of Painting at the Academy of Fine Art in Bergamo.
